CharterUP, North America’s leading enterprise mobility platform, today announced key additions to its leadership team. Company appoints Joshua Trott as Chief Revenue Officer Kristin Lavigne also joins as General Manager of Marketplace. Both executives bring valuable industry experience to CharterUP’s expanding team. Also, these hires are made during a key growth phase for the company. Trott is all about building strong go-to-market organizations. “Meanwhile, Lavigne is working on scaling AI-powered marketplace products and operations.
“CharterUP has fundamentally simplified how organizations access group transportation,” said Lavigne. “I’m excited to evolve the marketplace and make transportation easier and more reliable for customers, while helping operators grow. I’m energized by the opportunity to shape a world-class marketplace that continuously improves as it scales and redefines what customers should expect from group transportation.”
New Roles Fuel Strategic Growth
Trott will be Chief Revenue Officer, leading CharterUP’s revenue and go-to-market strategy. He will concentrate particularly on acquiring new customers. He will also work on growing strategic accounts. Trott also wants to speed up growth in two big market segments, enterprise and transit. Today these are the fastest growing areas of business at CharterUP.
Meanwhile, Lavigne will lead CharterUP’s marketplace evolution as General Manager. Her role combines product, commercial, and operational strategy. Consequently, she will embed AI throughout customer and operator experiences. She also plans to expand self-service capabilities across the platform. As a result, CharterUP aims to build a faster, smarter marketplace at scale.
Executive Backgrounds Reflect Industry Expertise
Lavigne had previously spent ten years at Amazon. There, she was GM of Worldwide Gift Registries across 12 global marketplaces. She held several leadership positions during her tenure. These included consumer marketplaces, logistics, and platform transformation initiatives.
Similarly, Trott brings extensive commercial leadership experience. He previously served as Chief Revenue Officer at Patch.io. Before that, he held the same role at RigUp, an Austin-based workforce management platform.
“Throughout my career, I’ve been drawn to technology-enabled service businesses,” said Trott. “What motivates me is the opportunity to use technology to deliver better experiences at scale, and CharterUP is doing exactly that. The company has built a category-defining platform and a strong foundation for continued growth. Building commercial organizations that turn that foundation and momentum into durable growth is what drives me, and I couldn’t be more excited to do that here.”
CharterUP Enters Next Growth Phase
The appointments arrive at pivotal moments in the company’s history. CharterUP recently surpassed $1 billion in annual platform volume. The company further extended its network with over 10,000 vehicles in the country. CharterUP also entered into new partnerships that focused on autonomous shuttle technology. These developments position the company for continued leadership in the industry.
