eClinicalWorks and healow Report Record 2026 Revenue Exceeding $1.3 Billion, Fueled by Accelerating AI Adoption

eClinicalWorks

eClinicalWorks is projected to have $1.3 billion in earnings by 2026. This report was released during the eClinicalWorks and healow National Conference. eClinicalWorks is one of the largest privately held health tech companies in the US. healow is one of the leaders in the supply of healthcare-related solutions using AI and patient engagement strategies.

eClinicalWorks has made progress in EHR, RCM, population health, and value-based care market. This allows clients to get tools that increase clinical performance and functions.

The company also will unveil next-generation Agentic RCM and Agentic Value-Based Care solutions. These tools provide intelligent automation for complex financial, administrative and care management workflows. They want to reduce administrative burden, improve financial performance, and improve care coordination. They also assist healthcare organizations to manage in a value-based environment.

healow is about to reach a very exciting milestone. The company expects to generate record revenues of $175m in 2026 as its products are being embraced rapidly. “The artificial intelligence (AI) technology is allowing patients to interact with their care in a whole different way. This increases patient engagement and strengthens the relationship between patients and providers. The tools can be used to automate admin tasks, improve revenue cycle management and deliver a digital experience to patients.

Together, eClinicalWorks and healow share one vision. They want to transform healthcare through AI-powered innovation, agentic automation, and connected patient experiences. Consequently, providers can work more efficiently while patients receive better experiences and outcomes. The company also announced two new business units for specialized practice areas. One is an AI-native inpatient hospital EHR. The other is a pharmacy management system for integrated, inpatient, and retail pharmacies.

“The big change is not simply adding AI features to an existing system. We have reimagined the product around AI and agents, so intelligence is built into the way work gets done,” said Girish Navani, CEO and cofounder of eClinicalWorks. “Surpassing $1.3 billion in projected combined revenue reflects the trust our customers place in eClinicalWorks and gives us the scale to keep investing in technology that helps hospital systems and healthcare organizations create efficiency, grow their operations and remain competitive without needing the resources of a large health system.”

Expanding Beyond Ambulatory Care Across the Care Continuum

eClinicalWorks now moves beyond its traditional ambulatory footprint. The new pharmacy and inpatient hospital units connect outpatient, pharmacy, and hospital workflows through a more complete patient record. Moreover, they extend the company’s technology to hospital systems across more points of care.

The new pharmacy management system sits directly inside the EHR. It links pharmacists, providers, and patients through a shared record. East Georgia Healthcare Center partnered with eClinicalWorks to develop the platform. The system supports real-time inventory visibility, claims adjudication, electronic prior authorizations, 340B compliance, and patient prescription notifications. It also uses healow Genie, the company’s AI contact center. Genie answers patient calls about refill requests, prescription status, and other common needs.

“We did not want to simply replace one pharmacy system with another. We wanted to build something that worked for our pharmacists, providers, and patients,” said Jennie Wren Denmark, CEO of East Georgia Healthcare Center. “Over the past two years, our team has worked closely with eClinicalWorks to shape a solution around the realities of community health. Bringing the pharmacy and patient record together will reduce duplication and give our teams a clearer, more complete view of each patient.”

Next, the AI-native inpatient hospital EHR extends eClinicalWorks into hospital settings. This AI-driven solution automates routine processes, improves resource utilization, and supports staff efficiency. It also connects hospital care with the company’s ambulatory care and pharmacy management system. Several hospitals have committed to the platform, and they plan to go live by the end of this year. Meanwhile, eClinicalWorks builds a dedicated business for hospital needs.

“We’re excited to partner with eClinicalWorks as we build the technology foundation for our hospital,” said Raji Kumar, CEO of American Specialty Hospital. “What stands out to us about Acute Care is the vision of a connected, AI-first platform designed around how hospitals operate today. We believe this approach can help our teams work more efficiently while allowing us to remain focused on delivering an exceptional patient experience.”

“Riceland Healthcare is proud to be at the forefront of this initiative as we prepare to implement and deploy the inpatient EHR at Winnie Community Hospital, marking an exciting milestone in our commitment to transforming healthcare delivery,” said Saad Javed, CEO of Riceland Healthcare. “Our partnership with eClinicalWorks has been instrumental in turning this vision into reality. This achievement represents more than technological advancement – it reflects our shared commitment to connected care, stronger clinical collaboration, and better patient outcomes.”

A Simpler EHR Experience Built Around the Work at Hand

Version 12.04 introduces Canvas for Care, a redesigned workspace. It brings patient context, task queues, AI-generated summaries, recommendations, and actions into one place. Therefore, clinicians face fewer clicks, pop-ups, and fragmented screens. Staff can review information and move care forward without constantly switching views. The goal is simple: make routine work easier to finish and key information easier to find. Notably, organizations need no large IT team or collection of separate products. eClinicalWorks will begin deploying the new technologies to customers on November 1.

The company also began rolling out healowIQ to customers. This conversational clinical intelligence solution integrates with EBSCO DynaMed®. It combines the patient record with trusted, evidence-based content. Clinicians can ask natural-language questions and review patient-specific information alongside supporting clinical evidence. Best of all, they never leave the patient record. A new clinical trial enhancement will also surface potentially relevant research opportunities within the care workflow.

Agentic AI Across Clinical and Operational Workflows

The new AI Workbench lets healthcare organizations create, deploy, and manage AI agents. These agents handle operational work such as revenue cycle management, referrals, prior authorization, and value-based care. The platform includes a marketplace of prebuilt agents. Users can also build workflows that start manually or automatically. Additionally, eClinicalWorks adds Model Context Protocol support to the AI Workbench. This builds on standard integrations such as REST and FHIR APIs. As a result, organizations can connect their own applications and workflows to the eClinicalWorks platform.

At the National Conference Build-A-Thon, attendees can see the platform in action. They can also build their own agents with the AI Workbench.

Finally, eClinicalWorks applies AI agents to RCM to automate end-to-end revenue cycle operations. The agentic approach will automate 98% of manual work. Autonomous revenue cycle management monitors revenue-cycle activity. It helps practices identify denials, uncover reimbursement opportunities, and reduce manual follow-up. Likewise, agentic value-based care helps organizations identify cost drivers and pinpoint high-risk patients. It notifies care teams and providers, determines where follow-ups are needed, and automates manual tasks. Consequently, staff save hours of manual work.
