Samsara ARR Growth Hits $2.1 Billion as Enterprises Standardize Operations

Samsara ARR growth

Samsara Inc. (NYSE: IOT) has announced strong Q2 FY27 results. Consequently, the Samsara ARR growth trend continues to strengthen across large enterprises. The company, known as a pioneer of the Connected Operations® Platform, reported that annual recurring revenue crossed $2.1 billion. Moreover, Samsara added 242 customers generating over $100,000 in ARR. It also gained 20 customers surpassing $1 million in ARR. Both figures mark new quarterly records for the company.

Furthermore, total ARR increased by 30% year over year. Meanwhile, net new ARR climbed to $134 million, up 28% annually. Additionally, revenue from $100,000-plus ARR customers accelerated for a fourth straight quarter. Notably, Samsara ARR growth from million-dollar customers exceeded $500 million. That segment grew more than 50% year over year, for the third consecutive quarter. As a result, emerging products contributed over 20% of net new bookings, also for a third straight quarter. The company therefore delivered its fourth consecutive quarter of GAAP profitability.

Regarding this progress, Amit Vyas, chief revenue officer at Samsara, stated:“Large organizations are bringing more of their operations onto Samsara as they digitize. What begins with one use case often grows into the platform they rely on across assets, teams, and workflows. Our record large customer growth this quarter shows that shift is accelerating.”

Enterprise Adoption Deepens Across Sectors

Samsara serves industries representing over 40% of global GDP. These include transportation, construction, manufacturing, energy and government sectors. Since operations in these fields often rely on disconnected systems, companies increasingly turn to unified platforms. Therefore, large organizations are consolidating operations through Samsara’s technology.

Indeed, 96% of $100,000-plus customers now use at least two Samsara products. Similarly, 72% subscribe to three or more offerings. This pattern shows how single use cases expand into full platform adoption. For instance, APi Group and Sonepar both adopted multiple Samsara products this quarter.

Additionally, one major U.S. city expanded its deployment across fire, parks and transit departments. The city added AI Multicam and Connected Asset Maintenance tools. Meanwhile, a large construction firm reported an 83% drop in safety incidents after piloting AI Dash Cam.

New Physical AI Tools Drive Momentum

To sustain this momentum, Samsara launched several Physical AI innovations in June. These include Tracking Label, Shipment Center and AI Agents for safety and dispatch. Consequently, adoption of new AI features grew fourfold within two months.

Therefore, Samsara’s growing data footprint over 30 trillion data points a year continues to fuel smarter automation. So, the increase in Samsara’s ARR is indicative of a broader trend toward real-world AI adoption.
