Elucid has appointed Mark Miller as chief revenue officer to support its commercial expansion. The medical technology company uses AI-powered software for precision diagnosis of cardiovascular disease. Miller will join Elucid’s leadership team and report directly to CEO Kelly Huang, PhD.

The appointment comes as Elucid prepares to launch its comprehensive cardiovascular platform. The platform includes its FDA-cleared Plaque-IQ™ software. It also includes BioIntegrated FFR-CT software, which is pending FDA clearance.

Miller brings more than 25 years of experience across cardiovascular imaging and cardiac diagnostics. His background also includes AI-enabled clinical decision support and commercial leadership. In addition, his experience is supported by a clinical foundation in cardiopulmonary science.

“Mark brings a combination of sales leadership, hands-on clinical credibility in our CT cardiology ecosystem, and the repeatable go-to-market agility and discipline we need to scale our commercial momentum upon FDA clearance of our BioIntegrated FFR-CT software,” said Elucid CEO Kelly Huang. “This is a big step towards our commercial launch, and I couldn’t be more confident in the team we’re building to meet the moment.”

Mark Miller Brings Extensive Cardiovascular Experience

Miller has built and expanded sales organizations throughout his career. His work has focused on cardiovascular imaging, cardiac diagnostics, and healthcare technology. He spent a decade working across GE Healthcare and Philips. During that period, he sold directly to cardiology practices and electrophysiology labs. This experience gave him extensive exposure to clinical workflows and cardiovascular imaging needs.

Miller later joined Cassling as vice president of sales. Cassling operates as a regional distribution and solutions partner for Siemens Healthineers. At Cassling, Miller held full P&L responsibility. His responsibilities covered imaging, procedural solutions, and clinical workflow solutions. He also helped scale bookings while expanding the company’s commercial capabilities.

Furthermore, Miller led a commercial organization with more than 40 professionals. The team covered sales, customer success, revenue operations, and solution sales. His experience provides a strong foundation for Elucid’s next phase of commercial development. The company is preparing for the potential launch of its BioIntegrated FFR-CT software.

Elucid CEO Kelly Huang highlighted Miller’s combination of commercial and clinical experience. She also emphasized his understanding of the company’s CT cardiology ecosystem.

The appointment marks another step in Elucid’s preparations for commercial expansion. The company aims to build momentum around its cardiovascular technology portfolio. Plaque-IQ™ has already received FDA clearance. Meanwhile, BioIntegrated FFR-CT remains pending FDA clearance. The platform is designed to aid precision diagnosis across cardiovascular care. It integrates cutting-edge software with clinically validated approaches to cardiovascular disease assessment.

Miller’s experience could help Elucid build out its commercial business. His background includes medical imaging, cardiac diagnostics and clinical technology. He also comes with direct experience working with physicians and healthcare organizations. This experience consists of years of the CT cardiology ecosystem.

Miller Focuses on Clinical Needs and Commercial Growth

Miller said Elucid’s approach stands out within the cardiovascular technology field. He pointed to the company’s use of histology-validated science.

“Elucid is doing something genuinely rare in this space. It is applying rigorous, histology-validated science to give physicians a clearer picture of cardiovascular risk,” said Miller.

He also discussed the need for better clinical tools across cardiovascular care. According to Miller, physicians need stronger support when making treatment decisions.

“Having spent my career on the front lines of the CT cardiology ecosystem, I’ve seen firsthand how clinicians need better tools to guide treatment decisions. I’m excited to build the commercial engine that gets this technology into the hands of the physicians and patients who need it most.”

Miller will now focus on building Elucid’s commercial engine. His responsibilities will support the company’s broader go-to-market strategy. In addition, his leadership will help prepare Elucid for potential FDA clearance of BioIntegrated FFR-CT. The company is positioning its technology for wider adoption across cardiovascular care.

Elucid combines AI-powered technology with clinically validated software. Its work focuses on improving precision diagnosis for cardiovascular disease. With Miller joining its leadership team, Elucid is strengthening its commercial organization. The company is also advancing preparations for its next stage of growth.

The appointment comes at an important point for Elucid. Its cardiovascular platform is moving toward a broader commercial opportunity. Therefore, Miller’s experience across medical imaging and cardiac diagnostics will support the company’s expansion plans.
