Elevated Materials announced a strategic commercial leadership expansion today. The company appointed tech executive Jay Wang as Chief Revenue Officer. In this role, Wang will lead global sales, market expansion, and strategic partnerships. Furthermore, his appointment comes as Elevated Materials accelerates production of its proprietary ELi ultra-thin lithium films.
Expanding Global Commercial Strategy and Market Reach
Wang brings over twenty years of global commercial experience across advanced technology markets. Previously, he led high-performing sales organizations throughout Asia and the United States. His extensive expertise spans semiconductors, LEDs, advanced energy storage, and industrial electronics. Most recently, Wang served as Vice President of Asia Sales at Enovix. At Enovix, he established regional APAC headquarters and built engineering teams from scratch. Additionally, Wang held executive roles at Philips Lumileds, Sipex, Cypress Semiconductor, and Taiwan Yageo Group.
“We are excited to welcome Jay to Elevated Materials,” said Jim Cushing, Chief Executive Officer of Elevated Materials. “Jay’s experience building commercial organizations, developing executive-level customer relationships, and scaling revenue across advanced technology markets will be invaluable as we bring ELi™, our ultra-thin lithium films, to customers globally.”
“I am excited to join Elevated Materials at such an important stage in the company’s growth,” said Jay Wang. “Elevated Materials has a unique technology platform with the potential to enable higher-performance batteries across a wide range of critical applications. I look forward to working with the team to accelerate customer adoption and support the company’s next phase of commercial growth.”
Scaling Up Production of Ultra-Thin Lithium Films for Next-Generation Batteries
Wang will thus spearhead the adoption of ultra-thin lithium technology in the major international industries. To meet modern energy demands, faster charging capabilities and higher energy density are required. Thus, the engineers of Elevated Materials designed specialized lithium anode components to change the performance of the next-generation batteries. The company’s core technology is for electric vehicles, defense applications, and commercial drones. The platform also supports high-growth segments such as AI data center infrastructure and consumer electronics.
Elevated Materials is now expanding its manufacturing capacity further to meet the increasing demand globally. It collaborates with top battery manufacturers to enable rapid integration into existing production lines. Meanwhile, Wang’s appointment will guarantee solid customer engagement as commercial scaling accelerates. Ultimately, Elevated Materials is well-positioned to spearhead the global movement toward high-capacity energy storage solutions.
