BlueVoyant Names John Hultman as New Chief Revenue Officer

BlueVoyant

BlueVoyant, a leading cybersecurity company, has appointed John Hultman as Chief Revenue Officer. The appointment strengthens BlueVoyant’s leadership as it expands its AI-driven cybersecurity portfolio. Hultman will lead BlueVoyant’s global revenue organization. His responsibilities will include sales and revenue operations across the company.

He will also work closely with BlueVoyant’s leadership team. Together, they will focus on accelerating growth and improving go-to-market execution. The appointment comes as enterprises face increasingly complex cybersecurity challenges. Companies now manage fragmented security tools and growing risks across their environments.

John Hernandez, CEO of BlueVoyant, highlighted the importance of Hultman’s experience and perspective.

“John joins BlueVoyant at an important moment for the company. We’ve built a strong foundation, and his experience and perspective will be valuable as we continue to scale the business and deepen our customer relationships,” said John Hernandez, CEO of BlueVoyant. “His focus on execution and customer success aligns closely with where we’re headed, and he’ll help us meet a market that’s demanding exactly what BlueVoyant delivers.”

Hultman’s leadership will support BlueVoyant’s efforts to expand its revenue operations. In addition, his experience will help strengthen the company’s global sales strategy.

John Hultman Brings Extensive Technology Sales Experience

Hultman brings more than 30 years of global technology sales leadership experience. His background includes SaaS, cloud, and security markets. Most recently, Hultman served as Chief Revenue Officer at data security company Druva. There, he led the company’s global go-to-market strategy.

Before joining Druva, Hultman led Americas Sales at Cohesity. Earlier, he spent nearly two decades at Dell EMC. At Dell EMC, he held several sales leadership positions across the Americas and APJC. Throughout his career, Hultman has helped build and scale high-growth organizations.

He has focused on improving go-to-market structures and sales processes. He has also maintained a strong focus on business outcomes for customers and partners. That experience will support BlueVoyant as the company expands its cybersecurity business. Furthermore, it will help the company strengthen its customer and partner relationships.

Hultman said the cybersecurity industry has reached an important turning point. Enterprises must now address threats across increasingly connected digital environments.

“The cybersecurity landscape has reached an inflection point. Enterprises are dealing with growing complexity, fragmented security tooling and the need to move beyond detecting threats to taking action, not just inside their own walls but across their suppliers and everywhere their brand lives online,” said Hultman. “What drew me to BlueVoyant is its differentiated approach to that challenge, combining BlueVoyant AI with the human expertise to defend organizations inside their environment, across their supply chain and beyond the perimeter. The opportunity in front of us is significant, and this team is built to capture it.”

BlueVoyant Expands Its AI-Driven Cybersecurity Portfolio

Hultman’s appointment follows a solid third quarter for BlueVoyant. The company continues to expand its cybersecurity product portfolio. Recently, BlueVoyant launched one of the first deployment solutions for Microsoft’s newly announced Integrated Security Operations Center (ISOC). The solution helps enterprises adopt ISOC within Microsoft Defender. It also builds on BlueVoyant’s longstanding partnership with Microsoft.

Meanwhile, BlueVoyant continues to advance BlueVoyant AI. The company is developing solutions that help organizations securely adopt and govern AI agents. These solutions support organizations across their technology environments. They also address the growing need for stronger governance around AI deployments. BlueVoyant’s expanding portfolio reflects the changing needs of enterprise cybersecurity. Organizations increasingly need protection across internal systems, supply chains, and external digital assets.

As a result, BlueVoyant continues to combine AI capabilities with cybersecurity expertise. The company is also strengthening its ability to support customers across different security environments. With Hultman leading the global revenue organization, BlueVoyant aims to build on its current momentum. His experience across cybersecurity, cloud, SaaS, and technology sales will support the company’s growth strategy.

The appointment also comes as enterprises seek more comprehensive cybersecurity solutions. Therefore, BlueVoyant’s focus on AI, security operations, and supply chain protection remains central to its market strategy. BlueVoyant will continue developing its cybersecurity portfolio while expanding its global commercial operations. Hultman’s leadership will play an important role in supporting those efforts.
