Bending Spoons Officially Completes Airtable Acquisition

Airtable

Bending Spoons S.p.A. (NASDAQ: BSP) announced today that it has completed its previously announced acquisition of Bending Spoons Airtable. Airtable is used by over half a million organizations worldwide. The platform enables teams to organize data and manage critical workflows. It also helps businesses to transform how teams handle information and do daily work.

The completed deal marks an important step for Bending Spoons. The company will now oversee Airtable and its expanding customer base. Furthermore, the acquisition adds another established global brand to Bending Spoons’ portfolio.

“Airtable continues to grow because customers value its best-in-class flexibility,” said Luca Ferrari, Bending Spoons CEO and co-founder. “Teams can bring all their data, context, and AI agents together in one place, shape their workflows around their specific needs, and progressively expand their use of the platform over time. As we take the reins, our focus will be on sustaining that growth by investing heavily in Airtable’s product, customer support, and go-to-market capabilities.”

Airtable Acquisition Expands Bending Spoons’ Portfolio

The Airtable acquisition gives Bending Spoons access to a widely used workflow platform. Airtable enables organizations to connect data, workflows, and AI agents. As a result, teams can adapt the platform to their specific business requirements.

The acquisition also supports Bending Spoons’ strategy of investing in established technology businesses. The company plans to support Airtable’s continued growth through several key areas. These areas include product development, customer support, and go-to-market capabilities. Meanwhile, Airtable co-founder Howie Liu welcomed the company’s next phase under Bending Spoons.

“I’m proud of what the Airtable team has built and excited to see the business enter this next chapter,” said Howie Liu, co-founder of Airtable. “I’m confident Bending Spoons has the resources and long-term perspective to help Airtable continue delivering exceptional value to its customers and deliver greater results than ever before.”

The transaction also represents a significant milestone for Bending Spoons. It marks the company’s first acquisition since its Nasdaq listing on July 1, 2026. Therefore, the Bending Spoons Airtable acquisition adds further momentum to the company’s growing global portfolio. It also brings Airtable into a business group focused on expanding technology brands.

Deal Structure and Financial Outlook

Under the agreement, Bending Spoons acquired 100% of Airtable’s issued and outstanding shares. The company completed the transaction through an all-cash deal. Bending Spoons previously provided its financial outlook on August 13, 2026. That outlook covered businesses owned by the company as of August 12, 2026. However, the outlook did not include any contribution from Airtable. Bending Spoons expects to include Airtable in its financial outlook during its next financial results report.

So the previous financial guidance of the company is not blended with the Airtable deal that was acquired. Therefore, investors should expect future reporting to reflect the addition of Airtable to the portfolio. The deal further strengthens Bending Spoons’ position in the tech industry. At the same time, Airtable is entering a new ownership phase with more resources to its operations.

Legal Counsel and Financial Advisors

Several law and financial firms advised the transaction to both companies. Legal counsel to Bending Spoons: Willkie, Farr & Gallagher LLP Financial and tax due diligence services to Bending Spoons: EY Advisory S.p.A. Bending Spoons was advised by Goldman Sachs Bank Europe SE, Succursale Italia and J.P. Morgan as co-financial advisors. Airtable was advised by Latham & Watkins LLP. Airtable received financial advice from AXOM Partners LLC.

The completion of the deal closes the previously announced transaction between the two companies. It also begins Airtable’s next stage under Bending Spoons ownership. Going forward, Bending Spoons plans to invest in Airtable’s product and customer support operations. The company will also focus on strengthening Airtable’s go-to-market capabilities.

As a result, the Bending Spoons Airtable acquisition could shape the platform’s next phase of growth. Airtable will continue serving organizations that need flexible data management and workflow solutions. The completed transaction also adds another major technology brand to Bending Spoons’ expanding international portfolio. Meanwhile, customers will remain central to the company’s plans for Airtable’s continued development.
