Artemis Security, the AI-native platform for security operations, has appointed Arun Singh as Chief Growth Officer. The company announced the news on Oct. 29, 2026, through PRNewswire from New York. The appointment arrives one day after Fortune named Artemis Security to its 2026–27 Fortune Cyber 60. Moreover, it closes a first year in which the company shipped five products and raised $70 million in six months. Revenue also grew more than 100x. Today, some of the world’s largest enterprises and AI-native startups use the platform.
Shachar Hirshberg, co-founder and CEO of Artemis, explained why Singh fits the next stage of growth.
“From Fortune 500 enterprises to AI-native startups, Artemis has proven that defenders can stop attacks at AI speed,” said Shachar Hirshberg, co-founder and CEO of Artemis. “Unlike most AI in security operations, which starts after an alert fires, Artemis learns each customer’s environment, keeps a living model of it, and writes and tunes detections for each customer. From the same model, it hunts for threats, investigates every case and responds. In our first year, it flagged 92% of confirmed attacks at the point of entry within seconds. Arun has scaled category-defining products in large markets before. He is the right leader for our next phase of growth.”
Arun Singh Brings Deep Cybersecurity Experience to Artemis Security
As Chief Growth Officer, Singh will lead Artemis Security into its next phase of growth. He brings cybersecurity and enterprise software experience from Salesforce, Okta, Cloudflare, Abnormal AI and Drata. Most recently, he served as CMO at Drata. There, he helped define the Trust Management category. He also took the company from compliance automation to a strategic enterprise platform.
Before that, Singh led marketing at Abnormal AI. During his tenure, ARR grew more than 12x in three years. In addition, Gartner and Forrester recognized the company as a market leader.
Singh also shared his view on the opportunity ahead.
“Attackers now move at AI speed, while security operations still move at human speed,” said Singh. “Artemis closes that gap by putting the defender’s one lasting advantage, knowledge of their own environment, to work at the moment of detection. Enterprises are adopting it at a pace I have rarely seen in my career, and my focus now is scaling that momentum. I look forward to bringing Artemis to many more security teams.”
A Year of Hypergrowth for Artemis Security
Fortune named Artemis to the 2026–27 Fortune Cyber 60 list. The list recognizes 60 of the most important venture-backed cybersecurity companies. Lightspeed Venture Partners and AWS present it in partnership with Fortune. Furthermore, Anthropic named Artemis one of the 10 most AI-native startups in the world. SACR and Latio each named Artemis a leader in their independent analyst reports.
Artemis is the only security operations startup in CrowdStrike’s QuiltWorks alliance. Meanwhile, it works with Anthropic as a technology partner. The platform also connects to more than 250 tools across identity, cloud, endpoint, SIEM, ticketing and collaboration.
Key milestones from the year:
- Growth: Revenue grew more than 100x in its first year.
- Customers: Dozens of Fortune 500 and Global 2000 enterprises and AI leaders use Artemis. They include Cursor, Mercury, Lemonade, Wix, Quartermaster and a major global financial institution.
- Scale: The platform analyzes hundreds of billions of security events a day. It also investigates more than 70,000 cases a month.
- Products: The team shipped five products in twelve months on one platform. They are AI SIEM, AI SOC, AI SOAR, AI Threat Hunting and AI MDR.
- Outcomes: A regulated enterprise with tens of thousands of employees cut mean time to resolution by 96%. Investigations that took multiple hours now take under five minutes.
- Detection: Artemis flagged 92% of the confirmed attacks it caught at the point of entry.
- Team: The company grew to more than 55 people.
- Funding: Felicis, First Round, Two Sigma and others backed a $70 million seed and Series A raise within six months.
Closing the Gap Between Attackers and Defenders
For twenty years, the SIEM has sat at the center of security operations. Vendors built it to search logs when analysts had hours or days to respond. However, AI-powered attacks now move faster than any security team can hire to keep up. A faster search engine does not help while analysts still assemble every piece of evidence by hand.
Artemis takes a different approach. It builds a living model of each organization. It then uses that model to run detection, threat hunting and investigation continuously. As a result, every case arrives already investigated. Response actions wait for an analyst to approve them. Where the customer allows, they run automatically. Artemis’ first year shows that an AI-native platform can replace the legacy security operations stack in production at demanding enterprises.
Key differentiators include:
- Environment Intelligence: Artemis models every user, account, device, resource and AI agent. It draws on the systems that already know how the organization works, including HR, identity, cloud and asset inventory. Detection runs from that model. Adaptive detectors get written and auto-tuned for each environment. Therefore, Artemis catches attacks that never trigger a rule in a legacy SIEM.
- Decision-grade cases with customer-governed autonomy: Every case arrives with a plain-English summary and an Artemis verdict. It also includes the full record of what the AI investigated and concluded, plus response actions ready to run. Artemis is architected to contain attacks automatically. Each customer chooses which actions run on their own and which wait for an analyst’s one-click approval.
- Unbeatable innovation speed: Artemis ships customer feature requests within 48 hours of submission. In one year, it has launched five major products, more than 8,000 features and more than 38,000 detectors. The team also completed 30,000 pull requests.
What Customers Say About Artemis Security
Customers have also praised the platform.
“At Cursor we know what great AI products look like. Artemis is the first time we have seen that same standard applied to security, detecting and responding at the speed our environment actually moves,” said Tom Daniels, CISO at Cursor.
“It’s like having a service working 24 hours a day that never gets tired, doing what you would normally have to hire a managed service for, with more consistency and higher quality,” said Jonathan Jaffe, CISO at Lemonade.
