Vastian (the “Company”), the fastest growing provider of quality management software for hospitals and laboratories, today appointed Peter Stamnes as Chief Revenue Officer. In this role, Stamnes will lead Vastian’s go-to-market strategy and commercial teams. Meanwhile, the Company is deepening its established position in the laboratory market. It is also growing its offering for hospitals and health systems. These organizations want to bring disconnected quality and compliance processes together on a single platform.
Tom Ormondroyd, Chief Executive Officer of Vastian, welcomed the appointment.
“Laboratory and hospital leaders need confidence that the technology they choose can meet their needs today and support them as their organizations evolve,” said Tom Ormondroyd, Chief Executive Officer of Vastian. “Laboratories have trusted Vastian for decades, and that foundation positions us to connect quality and compliance work across the entire hospital. Peter has spent nearly two decades helping healthcare organizations navigate these decisions, and he brings the right experience to grow our position in the lab while we expand our hospital-wide solution.”
Peter Stamnes to Strengthen Vastian’s Go-to-Market Strategy
As Chief Revenue Officer, Stamnes will focus on several priorities. First, he will strengthen Vastian’s go-to-market capabilities and develop its commercial teams. In addition, he will grow the Company’s position with clinical laboratories. Furthermore, he will expand adoption of the platform across hospitals and health systems.
Stamnes joins Vastian after nearly two decades at NAVEX. There, he held senior sales leadership roles. He helped hospitals evaluate and adopt compliance software at scale. Moreover, he built a track record of developing sales teams and supporting over 7,000 customers nationwide.
Hospital quality and compliance teams often work across disconnected systems. As a result, they struggle to coordinate processes, maintain consistent documents, and assess readiness across departments. However, health systems already using Vastian in their laboratories have a clear path forward. The platform lets them extend that foundation across the hospital and the broader health system.
Today, the Company’s platform supports more than 10,000 facilities across 60 countries. It serves over 2.3 million clinical professionals. Notably, all of the top 20 U.S. hospitals named by U.S. News & World Report use it.
Leadership Shares Vision for Connected Quality and Compliance
Stamnes, in turn, explained why he joined the Company.
“Healthcare organizations are making consequential decisions about how they manage quality and compliance,” said Stamnes. “What drew me to Vastian was the Company’s established leadership in the laboratory, platform breadth, and growth momentum. There is a clear opportunity to help laboratory and hospital leaders connect work that has historically been spread across separate systems, and I’m excited to build lasting partnerships with customers as we do that.”
His appointment as Chief Revenue Officer follows a strategic growth investment from Bregal Sagemount and Silversmith Capital Partners. Both firms announced the investment in May 2026. In addition, Vastian won the Compliance Management Innovation Award in the 2026 MedTech Breakthrough Awards. The award recognizes its connected quality platform for hospitals and laboratories.
