Intuit Inc. announced a wave of new innovations today, all fueled by the Intuit Intelligence platform. The company makes TurboTax, Credit Karma, QuickBooks, Mailchimp, Intuit Enterprise Suite, and Intuit Accountant Suite. The Intuit Intelligence platform unifies businesses and accountants on one intelligent system. It also delivers automation that changes how both groups work together.
Intuit made the announcement at Intuit Connect, its flagship event for accounting firms and business leaders. There, the company showed how Intuit Intelligence helps accountants and businesses of all sizes thrive in the AI era. Moreover, Intuit’s connected financial network brings both groups closer. They now share context, intelligence, and agentic workflows across the Intuit ecosystem.
Intuit also showcased several new features. These include industry-specific editions of Intuit Enterprise Suite and monthly Agentic Books Close in Intuit Accountant Suite. In addition, QuickBooks now offers smarter invoicing and cash flow management. Together, these tools save time and money, boost efficiency, and deliver trusted insights. They also act on the customer’s behalf while staying compliant and accurate.
“With Intuit Intelligence, we’re harnessing the power of AI so businesses and accountants can continue to lead through the largest technology disruption in our history, one that is fundamentally changing how they compete and grow,” said Sasan Goodarzi, Intuit Chairman and CEO. “Intuit Intelligence brings businesses and accountants together on one financial system of intelligence, combining trusted data, deep expertise, AI, and human intelligence to increasingly do the work and deliver the insights that drive better decisions. Millions of businesses and the accountants they trust can now work from one intelligent platform, with shared financial context, insights, and automation. That connection is incredibly powerful: accountants can deliver more value to their clients, businesses can grow with greater confidence, and both become stronger together.”
How the Intuit Intelligence Platform Delivers Trusted Financial Intelligence
The platform builds on decades of trusted, permissioned financial data. It also draws on deep expertise across financial domains and industries. Furthermore, its architecture picks the right intelligence for each task. That choice ranges from AI and machine learning to deterministic code and human expertise. As a result, the platform moves beyond generic answers. It offers more personalized automation, insights, and action instead.
Three foundational layers work together seamlessly:
- Trusted, proprietary data: The platform offers unmatched financial context at scale. It draws on 82 million consumers, 10 million businesses, and 650,000 accountants. Intuit combines this first-party data with third-party data from banks, employers, and other sources. Consequently, businesses get a real-time view of their finances. They also receive recommended actions that support informed decisions.
- Deep financial and industry expertise: The platform covers dozens of financial domains, more than 100 workflows, and over 300 industries. This knowledge now sits directly inside the customer experience. Specialized expertise once lived inside a single product. Now, businesses can apply it anywhere they need it.
- The right intelligence for the job: Intuit Intelligence does not rely on one AI model. Instead, it orchestrates more than 60 specialized language models and over 100 AI skill agents. These span 100-plus workflows and 74 financial domains. Depending on the work, the platform may use a large language model, traditional machine learning, compliance-grade code, or a human expert. Businesses and accountants still control the important decisions.
The impact is already significant. Millions of customers rely on features powered by Intuit Intelligence. For example, AI categorizes more than 400 million transactions monthly. The platform also streamlines payroll, bill payments, invoicing, and capital extension. Rather than adding another dashboard, it turns recommendations into completed actions. Accountants, in turn, see an estimated 30% reduction in manual work. They can therefore focus on advisory tasks.
Intuit Accountant Suite Fuels Accounting Firm Growth
These announcements arrive at a moment of rapid change for the accounting profession. Technology moves fast, and client expectations keep rising. Meanwhile, firms are reshaping how they operate in real time. Accountants are not waiting for others to define their future. Instead, they are leaning in and reinventing what it means to be an accountant in the AI era.
Intuit Accountant Suite puts the full power of the platform in the hands of firms. It gives them one place to manage work, clients, and teams. Automation fits each firm’s needs, while the accountant’s judgment stays at the center. Additionally, meaningful insights and portfolio intelligence help firms deepen client relationships. They can also expand into higher-value advisory work.
Intuit built the platform around how accountants actually work. Rather than forcing firms to change their practices, Intuit is making its offerings more open. It integrates with the tools firms and their clients already use. Since launch, more than 250,000 accounting firms have adopted Intuit Accountant Suite. As a result, they spend far more time on advisory work supported by AI recommendations.
New innovations include:
- Agentic Books Close: It runs more of the monthly close automatically. It follows a firm’s own standard operating procedures and tracks actions in an audit log. Accountants still supervise, review, approve, and manage exceptions.
- Firm Playbooks and portfolio intelligence: These help firms standardize onboarding and workflows across clients. They also surface insights, anomalies, and benchmarks across the entire book of business.
- ProPartner: This new program launches in early 2027. It offers training, certifications, rewards, elevated support, and product discounts. Soon, firms will also connect with businesses on the Intuit platform that need their expertise.
“The power of Intuit Accountant Suite is that it blends Intuit’s software, our team’s human expertise, and AI,” said Matthew May, CAS Partner, Sorren. “It allows us to leverage the right resource at the right time, reducing variability in our tactical work and freeing up time for deeper connections with our clients.”
Mid-Market Growth with Intuit Enterprise Suite and QuickBooks Online Advanced
The Intuit Intelligence platform grows alongside its customers. Industry-specific, AI-native capabilities let mid-market businesses scale on Intuit or leave legacy ERPs. Larger businesses can run smoothly on Intuit Enterprise Suite or QuickBooks Online Advanced. Therefore, they avoid the cost, lost time, and disruption usually tied to ERP adoption.
New and expanded capabilities include:
- Deeper industry capabilities: Intuit is investing in construction. It is also extending purpose-built experiences for nonprofits and manufacturing. Manufacturers get workflows for multi-location inventory and production, from pick-pack-ship to multi-level bill of materials. Nonprofits get fund and grant accounting built in, instead of managing it through spreadsheets.
- New Revenue Management: These tools deliver automated contract-to-cash workflows. They cover deal configuration and pricing, billing, collections, and revenue recognition. They follow Intuit’s recent acquisition of Sequence.
- An enterprise-ready command center: Intuit Enterprise Suite offers multi-entity consolidation, multi-currency support, custom controls, and expanded reporting. Finance teams gain a real-time view across the business. Consequently, they no longer stitch together multiple systems by hand.
“AI and modern ERP are changing what business leaders should expect from their advisors, and Aprio is turning that change into opportunity for our clients,” said Jordan Fladell, Partner, Technology Advisory, Aprio. “We are putting these technologies to work to help small and mid-sized businesses make smarter decisions and move with greater speed. Our work with Intuit strengthens that vision and gives us another way to shape what the next generation of accounting and advisory looks like.”
QuickBooks Powers Small Businesses and Entrepreneurs
QuickBooks meets small businesses at every stage, from a first invoice to more complex needs. The need is great. The 2026 Intuit QuickBooks Small Business Late Payments Report shows nearly 3 in 5 small businesses have invoices overdue by 30 days or more. That figure is up from 47% last year.
New Intuit Intelligence-powered innovations for QuickBooks customers include:
- AI-powered cash flow and invoicing tools: They surface aging invoices, benchmark a business against peers, and follow up with customers automatically. Businesses get paid 4 days faster on average.
- Expanded money management: It includes the Intuit Business Credit Card, integrated bill pay, and capital offered at the moment of need. Financing, spending controls, and bookkeeping now work together in one place.
- Enhanced Sales Tax preparation: It adds a redesigned liability report and a Pre-File Check that flags discrepancies. Users can also eFile and pay state agencies in the app. Preparation drops from hours to minutes.
- Human Capital Management: It extends Intuit’s payroll capabilities, which process more than $350 billion for 18 million workers nationwide annually. It adds hiring, benefits, and team management tools for growing employers.
Accountants Remain Core to Intuit Intelligence
Intuit used Intuit Connect to underline its long-standing commitment to accountants. The company launched a marquee accountant marketing campaign across Las Vegas. The campaign features accountant customers and highlights their impact on client success. Additionally, an activation at Sphere brought Intuit’s AI-native platform to life. It capped off Intuit’s takeover of Las Vegas.
This marks the third year Intuit Connect has gathered thousands of accounting professionals and business leaders. Across three days, Oct. 26-28, attendees build connections and earn continuing professional education credits. They also hear from influential speakers. Finally, they see the latest innovations across Intuit Enterprise Suite, QuickBooks, and Intuit Accountant Suite.
