Sayari, an AI platform for economic security and commercial risk, has named Jenal Embry as its first Chief Revenue Officer. The company announced the appointment today. As Sayari Chief Revenue Officer, Embry will lead a unified go-to-market organization. This team will span the Commercial and Government businesses, along with revenue marketing. Her responsibilities will cover pipeline development, sales, customer success, and retention.
Jenal Embry’s Growth Record at Sayari
First Chief Revenue Officer Embry joined Sayari in 2022. Most recently, she served as general manager of the Commercial business unit. Under her leadership, the commercial business grew to account for over half of Sayari’s annual recurring revenue. As a result, her new role extends well beyond her previous scope. She now moves from leading the commercial business to overseeing revenue across both markets.
Sayari CEO Farley Mesko explained the thinking behind the decision.
“Jenal led our commercial business through a period of growth that brought it to over half of Sayari’s annual recurring revenue, and she knows our product and our customers as deeply as anyone here,” said Farley Mesko, CEO of Sayari. “As data and AI reshape our market, we’re bringing our revenue teams together around one strategy and one organization built around our customers. Jenal has earned this role, and I have complete confidence in her to lead our next chapter of growth.”
Embry’s Experience Before Sayari
First Chief Revenue Officer Embry brings deep industry experience to the Chief Revenue Officer role. Before joining Sayari, she spent four years at UiPath as an area vice president. There, she worked across robotic process automation, AI, and natural language processing. Prior to that, she spent 18 years at Dun & Bradstreet. During that time, she held roles across its business lines. Most recently, she served as area vice president of its Supply & Compliance business.
Embry also shared her view on the opportunity ahead.
“Global commercial companies and government agencies are now deciding how AI changes the way they work,” said Embry. “Sayari’s job is to show government and commercial customers how to protect their business with answers they can trace to a source. Everyone at Sayari is part of this success, and I am lucky to have such a great team behind me.”
Notably, the appointment supports Sayari’s broader strategy. The company plans to build its new platform around its government and commercial customers. Meanwhile, data and AI continue to reshape the markets Sayari serves. Therefore, a single revenue organization under one leader should help the company stay closer to its customers.
