Cerenome, Inc., selected XiFin, Inc. to deliver automated revenue cycle management and clearinghouse services. Specifically, the agreement deploys the artificial intelligence-driven XiFin Empower RCM platform to streamline financial operations for the proprietary CNSide Platform. The company plans to begin active billing during the third quarter of 2026. Furthermore, this initiative includes submitting an accumulated backlog of previously completed diagnostic tests alongside ongoing concurrent case billing.
Through this strategic agreement, XiFin provides comprehensive billing infrastructure tailored specifically for laboratory-developed diagnostic tests. For instance, the system automates insurance eligibility verification, claims coding, electronic submission, denials management, and financial reporting. Consequently, this cloud platform provides the CNSide Platform with scalable billing capabilities without driving up internal administrative expenses.
“XiFin is the recognized market leader in diagnostic revenue cycle management, and its technology and expertise will provide a critical piece of infrastructure as we scale CNSide,” said Andrew Sims, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Cerenome, Inc. “With our contracted payer coverage now established and growing, XiFin gives us the billing and clearinghouse services to convert testing volume into cash collections. We expect to begin billing with XiFin this quarter, including our backlog, and ramping to our expected volume levels with a platform built for substantial scale.”
Expanding Commercial Coverage and National Diagnostic Reach
Recently, Cerenome expanded its contracted commercial and Medicare Advantage insurance coverage significantly across key geographic regions. Therefore, selecting XiFin represents a crucial operational milestone toward achieving broad national reimbursement. Moreover, combining expanded insurance coverage with automated revenue cycle workflows helps increase clean claim rates substantially. This integrated system reduces days sales outstanding and supports the overall enterprise profitability goals effectively.
The CNSide Platform is a sophisticated tool that facilitates quick quantitative diagnosis, ongoing treatment monitoring, and clinical guidance for patients with leptomeningeal metastases. So far, twelve peer-reviewed publications and evidence from multicenter clinical trials have validated the clinical utility of the diagnostic platform. Moreover, real-world oncology practices across the United States use the technology to help guide complex treatment decisions.
Since 2020, the CNSide Platform has been used in over 11,000 diagnostic assays by medical teams at 120 leading U.S. cancer institutions. These diagnostic insights are used by community and academic oncology practices to treat central nervous system cancers. CNSide Diagnostics, LLC offers this specialized testing service only to healthcare professionals throughout the United States.
Parent company Cerenome is also developing an integrated central nervous system oncology portfolio that combines precision diagnostics, targeted therapeutics and artificial intelligence models. Its lead therapeutic clinical candidate, REYOBIQ™, is being actively evaluated in leptomeningeal metastases, recurrent glioblastoma and pediatric brain cancers, for example. Proprietary machine learning algorithms are meanwhile integrating clinical, imaging and molecular datasets to produce actionable diagnostic insights.
Modernizing the CNSide Platform’s billing workflows establishes a strong commercial foundation for continued growth going forward. Additionally, seamless clearinghouse connectivity ensures timely reimbursement as clinical testing volumes accelerate nationwide. This operating model ultimately allows Cerenome to scale diagnostic delivery while delivering strong financial performance and long-term shareholder value.
