Galaxy Digital Activates Phase I of Massive Helios Data Center Campus to Power CoreWeave

Technology infrastructure pioneer Galaxy Digital Inc. recently achieved a massive operational milestone in West Texas. Specifically, the corporation successfully finalized the first power delivery phase at its prominent Helios Data Center campus. The firm officially activated approximately 200 megawatts of gross power for its major client, CoreWeave. This initial capacity supplies exactly 133 megawatts of critical IT load under a long-term 15-year lease agreement. Consequently, this milestone transitions the Helios Data Center site into a revenue-generating asset.

The critical infrastructure project was finished right on schedule. The first contract officially began collecting rent in the second quarter of 2026. The successful launch is proof of the organization’s unique capability to design, build and operate hyperscale hardware platforms. Meanwhile, physical construction progresses quickly on the upcoming Phase II development tract. This next segment will add 260 megawatts of critical IT capacity to the facility. Civil and structural crews are currently working on-site to ensure structural readiness. The firm expects to begin delivery of these new data halls by the first half of 2027.

Scaling Infrastructure to Meet Global Automation Demands

Ultimately, CoreWeave plans to anchor its multi-phase technical operations within this specific West Texas facility. The company committed to an impressive 526 megawatts of critical IT load across the entire site layout. This allocation utilizes the full 800 megawatts of gross power currently authorized at the location. Furthermore, the long-term agreements feature two optional five-year extensions for the tenant. Financially, these contracts will generate over 1 billion dollars in average annual revenue for Galaxy.

Currently, the sprawling campus covers more than 2,200 acres of utility-backed land. The approved power threshold for the Helios Data Center recently expanded to an incredible 1.63 gigawatts. Additionally, the regional utility grid can scale up to 3.6 gigawatts over time. Reliable energy access remains the ultimate bottleneck for modern processing tasks. Therefore, this expansive pipeline cements the organization’s overarching goal to expand the Helios Data Center footprint. The scalable architecture will reliably sustain future high-performance computing workloads worldwide.
