Straiker has appointed Sriram “Sri” Puthucode as its Chief Revenue Officer in order to drive its global growth strategy. The hiring of a cybersecurity CRO reinforces Straiker’s leadership at a time when there is increased demand for its agentic security platform. Furthermore, the cybersecurity CRO hire comes after the recent funding achievement by the company.
This is because the firm has just raised $64 million in Series A financing, raising total funding to $85 million. This will aid in product development, STAR Labs research, and global expansion efforts. In addition, the company intends to expand its enterprise customer base globally.

Strengthening Global Revenue Leadership
As CRO, Sriram Puthucode will lead Straiker’s global revenue organization. His primary role will be to grow international markets and build out go-to-market functions. Moreover, he will also help achieve the company’s objective of tripling its revenues in the enterprise security areas.

Puthucode brings extensive experience in cybersecurity revenue leadership. He worked with Zscaler to scale next-generation security products. He grew the revenues of the cloud firewall business at Palo Alto Networks. Previously at Elastica, he created the entire revenue structure for the company. Besides, Straiker is growing its international leadership team. Which includes the appointment of new regional sales leadership for the EMEA region and soon in the APJ region.
