Dataiku

Dataiku announced today that Maxwell Long has joined the firm. He takes the role of President and Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). Long brings over three decades of professional technology experience to the business. He previously built commercial teams for Microsoft, Adobe, and NetApp.

Now, he will lead global sales at Dataiku. He also oversees customer success and partnerships. Long reports directly to co-founder and CEO Florian Douetteau.

“Max has done this before, built commercial organizations that turn a strong product into durable, scalable growth. At a moment when our customers are moving from AI experimentation to production, that’s exactly the kind of leadership Dataiku needs,” said Florian Douetteau, co-founder and CEO of Dataiku.

Driving Enterprise AI Scale

Long recently served as President of Go-to-Market at Smartsheet. He managed over 2,300 workers there. He grew their ARR to over $1 billion. Additionally, he helped navigate Smartsheet’s $8.4 billion acquisition by Blackstone and Vista.

Long also spent three years at NetApp. He worked as Chief Commercial Officer and SVP of North America. Maxwell generated over $3 billion in sales across North America. He raised Cloud Sales ARR to nearly $600 million.

Dataiku itself recently surpassed $350 million in ARR last Fall. The company boasts over 750 global organizational customers. This list includes LVMH, Michelin, Novartis, Johnson & Johnson, Unilever, Equifax, and BMO.

Furthermore, Dataiku recently launched products like Reasoning Systems, Cobuild on Snowflake, and Agent Management. Their open-source office, 575 Lab, released Kiji Privacy Proxy and Kiji Inspector.

“Dataiku has built something rare: a platform enterprises trust for AI when the stakes are real. The market is moving past demos and experimentation. Every major company now has to turn AI into a repeatable source of business results, with the governance to scale it safely. I’m convinced Dataiku is built for this moment. My focus is making sure we bring that capability to every organization ready to move from AI ambition to AI success,” said the new President and Chief Revenue Officer.
